Choosing rides, cars and prices
Which of the seven patterns fits my rides?
Count the rides and the dates. A single ride to the airport or home from it is one ride. Out now and home days later is out and back, while out in the morning and home after an evening landing on the same date is two rides on one date. A weekly work routine, a stay of months, a guest landing here and two pickups for one flight each have a pattern of their own. Pick the closest; the car company prices every ride in it separately.
Am I bound to anything once I send the form?
No. A request is a free quote with no obligation. The car company answers with its own written price for each ride, and nothing is held in your name until you say yes and it confirms in writing. If the price does not suit you, let the reply go; riders pay the office nothing either way.
What does a from figure on the fares page cover?
It is the starting amount for one car, one way, between a given place and Eppley Airfield, for a sedan with up to three riders or an SUV with up to six. Downtown starts at $85 for a sedan, for example. For a pattern with several rides, multiply by the number of rides. The written price from the car company is the figure that counts, and anything it adds sits on its own line.
Sedan or SUV, and what if we are seven?
A sedan seats up to three riders and an SUV seats up to six. Put the head count in the request along with the car size you want. A party of seven or more needs two cars, and each of those cars gets its own written price, so look over both before you say yes.
Who do I pay, and who handles a refund?
You pay the car company, which drives the car, assigns the driver and collects the payment. Riders pay the office nothing, and the form asks for no card details. Because the office never holds your money, any question about a charge or a refund goes to the car company that collected it.
Car seats, wheelchairs, guests and weekly routines
Can the car bring a seat for a child?
List each child in the request with the seat type that suits them: a rear-facing seat, a forward-facing seat or a booster. The car company answers in writing whether it brings them. That way you know well before the ride date whether to carry your own seat out to the curb with the bags.
What if a rider uses a wheelchair or has a service animal?
Note it in the request: a wheelchair or another mobility aid, or a service animal riding along. The car company reads that note and says in writing which car it will send. Look over that reply before you say yes, so the car suits the rider and whatever comes with them.
Can I reserve rides for a guest landing in Omaha, NE?
Yes. Choose the visitor pattern: the first ride starts at Eppley Airfield and the ride back to the airport comes later. The form asks for the guest's name and phone, plus a box confirming the guest agreed to be contacted about these rides. The written confirmation names the meeting point, so forward it to your guest before the landing.
How do weekly rides work, and how do I stop them?
Name the weekday you fly out, the weekday you come back, the first week and how many weeks to cover. The car company confirms in writing the weeks it accepts. When the routine changes, write to the office at ridesheet@awakenedtravelcompany.com and the pattern stops; you can end it whenever you like.
Replies, long gaps and the split terminal
My ride home is months away. How is that handled?
Send both rides in one request: the ride out now and the ride home in, say, the spring. For any ride more than 30 days after the first ride of a request, the office asks the car company to confirm it again 7 days before it. You then get that fresh confirmation, with the pickup time and the meeting point for that day.
Where does the car meet me at Eppley Airfield this year?
The car company names the meeting point in its written confirmation, and that is the place to go. As of October 2026 the terminal is split into a North and a South half while it is rebuilt, with no walkway inside between them. Check the gate letter on your boarding pass before the ride, A for South or B for North, and read the confirmation with that in mind.
My evening landing slips. Who should I call?
On a request with both rides on one date, the ride home is timed to the landing, and the car does not wait all day. If the evening flight runs late, call the car company number printed on its confirmation so it hears about the delay from you. Keep that confirmation within reach on the ride date.
When does the written reply arrive?
A request that comes in while the phone is answered gets a written reply within two hours, or by closing time if less than two hours remain. One that comes in while the phone is closed gets its reply within the first two hours of the next opening. The form shows when the reply is due. If the first car would leave less than four hours after that, call during phone hours instead.
